Alfred Erdmann (1872–1966), who taught at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Strasbourg beginning in 1902, published Decorative Writing and Arrangement of Lettering in 1923. As part of her research project at the ANRT (2023–2025), Juliette Ogier studied Erdmann’s archives and developed Erdmann Schrift, a monolinear typeface inspired by his work and teaching methods: 6 weights, from Hairline to Bold, and an Open Paths SVG font for endless possibilities.
